The Light Has Come

Signs and Wonders

Signs and wonders are an integral part of Jesus’ ministry in the Gospel of John. As we have already seen with the first sign done at a wedding in Cana, the miracles of Jesus validate His identity as the Messiah, bear witness to the truth of His message, and give us a glimpse of His Kingdom come to earth as it is in Heaven. But at the end of His Gospel, John also tells us that there is another reason why he recorded the signs and wonders of Jesus: that we may believe. Join us this Sunday as we look at the second sign done by Jesus in Galilee and find out what it means to truly believe.

Invite friends and family to worship in-person with us on Sunday at 8:00 (Chapel), 9:30 or 11:00 a.m. or online at pcpc.org/live/, the PCPC App with an iOS or Android device, Facebook, or YouTube.

When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had already been there a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be healed?”

Advent at PCPC

Advent—literally meaning “coming”—is a dwelling place in time to turn our heart’s attention to the God who dwelt among us in human flesh and who will dwell with us in a new heaven and a new earth (Revelation 21:3). Join us to worship in song and prayer through Advent events at PCPC this Christmas. PCPC Principles of Stewardship

As stewards who are to be held accountable, we must prayerfully seek to exercise our stewardship in a manner that is consistent with and obedient to God’s Word. Each week, we are going to share from our Principles of Stewardship.

Principle 9: Scripture supports giving in three areas: to the local Church, to the poor, and to extending the kingdom of God in the Church and the world. All three are important but giving to the local Church should have equal or greater importance than giving to the poor and to extending the kingdom of God in the church and the world, so long as the local church participates in the other two. Our giving, to and through the Church, is a tangible expression of our commitment to PCPC and our support of the equipping of the Saints and the protecting of our souls. As members of PCPC, we take a vow upon membership “to support the Church in its worship and work to the best of [our] ability.”

Please take advantage of this act of worship as the Lord provides and as He leads.

Year End Giving

In order to comply with IRS regulations, Tuesday, December 31, is the deadline for donations to be receipted for 2024. Other than offerings given in worship or online, you may mail checks postmarked by December 31.

The church offices will be closed from December 23 through January 1, but donations can be hand-delivered to the secure drop box in the portico at the south entrance when the church offices are closed for the holidays.

For instructions on stock donation, contact Cheli Conejo. Please note that mutual fund donations can take up to one month to process. Thank you for your generosity in supporting all that God is doing at PCPC.

We have a secure website and PCPC App with an iOS or Android device where you can give online. Please take advantage of this act of worship as the Lord provides and as He leads.

Give at pcpc.org/give/.
